Bedroom with a wooden mezzanine used as a meditation nook, living room with a collection of books from around the world, equipped kitchen and bathroom. Up to 4 guests with the double sofa bed. The building looks onto the Venezia quarter near the Fortezza Vecchia and the port, but the flat itself has only a partial glimpse of the water, from one bedroom window. The mezzanine is a meditation and reading nook, not a sleeping space. Double entrance with only four steps, and a lift, so luggage is not a problem. We are on a dead-end street where parking is not possible; if driving, head for the Mercatino Americano car park, five minutes away on foot. A historic, lived-in building in a lively neighbourhood.

Self check-in with a smart lock, between 16:00 and 20:00. Once the online registration is complete you receive the code with photos of the entrance. Italian law requires us to register every guest with the authorities before entry, via a secure external platform. Please complete it before you travel, not on the doorstep. Livorno charges city tax of 1.00 EUR per person per night from 1 October to 31 March and 2.50 EUR per person per night from 1 April to 30 September, paid at check-in.
